For those new to the PAPC, here's a little something about what you can expect from joining our illustrious group.

May 31, Riverside, Illinois

Last summer we went to the beautiful town of Riverside--a lovely spot. Return there this Saturday or check it out for the first time--and escape the madding crowd in the City.

WTTW Chicago Tonight: Reruns on Comcast

For those of you who missed the original airing of the Chicago Tonight segment about the PAPC, you can still see it if you have Comcast cable. Go to the on-demand programming, and you will find a section devoted to WTTW in the local programming area. Click on the Chicago Tonight program from May 27, and there you are--about half-way in to the show.

May 24, Halsted and Armitage

A great urban setting for this Saturday's paint out: Halsted and Armitage, somewhere we've been before, but always a good spot: shops, street corners, the el tracks. I believe there is a farmer's market down the street on Saturday mornings as well.

May 17, Methodist Camp Ground, Des Plaines

This Saturday will be a treat: painting at the Methodist Camp Ground in Des Plaines. This is a charming location; I've seen paintings that were done here, and there is lots of material. It will also be the location for one of our outings/sales events in August, so check it out now and start your compositions.

May 10 Foster Avenue Beach

Foster Avenue Beach last summer was a favorite, and our group's appearance there seemed to generate some buzz. Meet on Saturday for a return to Foster Beach. Early indications are for good weather.

May 6, Wicker Park

On Tuesday morning there will be a special outing to Wicker Park at 10:30 a.m. WTTW will be there shooting film for a later segment on Chicago Tonight, so come on out and show them how it's done.

May 3 St. Michael's Church, Old Town

This Saturday the group returns to Old Town. Remember that we are having a show in Old Town in the fall, so don't sell your paintings just yet. We can meet at the parking lot of St. Michael's Church, located at Cleveland and Eugenie.
